Perfect idea for “smoky” baking, on the fly! A griller is the ideal utensil to give some fine meat or fish a ton of smoke!
Put the meat/fish of your choice and cook first on one side and then on the other, depending on the cooking time you wish. Use Karpea’s new olive oils with a smoked flavor and give your culinary creations an absolute taste and aroma.
- We first put the non-stick frying pan on fire and then add a little Karpea Earth & Sea extra virgin olive oil with Smoked Sea Salt or Karpea Earth Elements Smoked.
- Cook the steak for 1 minute per centimeter of thickness on each side. That is, if the steak is 3 cm thick, it needs 3 minutes on each side. This will give you a medium cooked steak. For normal or well-done, calculate double or triple the time respectively.
- Season with salt, pepper and optionally add a little extra olive oil.
You are ready to enjoy your perfectly smoked steak!
Try it alternatively with brisket, burger, straws, sausage, chicken fillet or fish fillet, such as salmon, but also vegetables, marinades, dressings, using Karpea Earth & Sea with Smoked Sea Salt if you want to give a light and subtle “idea” smoked or the Karpea Earth Elements Smoked for a more intense flavor and aroma.
You can also use the smoked olive oil in the barbecue, in baked foods or of course fresh!
